Website & AI firm · Cedar Rapids, Iowa

We build the software businesses actually run on.

A slow, rented, or invisible website quietly costs you customers every week. We replace it with one that loads instantly, ranks, and holds up when the traffic actually arrives, then keep building the portals, dashboards, and AI systems your business grows into.

Building for the web since 2015. A few of the recent builds are below, live and in use, every one still looked after by the people who built it.

What we do

Five services, and the range is narrow on purpose. Nothing is listed here that we have not already shipped and then had to maintain, which is where you find out what a decision really costs.

Websites
Static where it can be. Every page prerendered, structured so search engines and AI assistants can both read it, and no server sitting behind it waiting to be patched.6 in the portfolio
Custom software & SaaS
Multi-tenant platforms, client portals, internal tools. Real schemas, real auth, real integrations with the systems a business already runs.5 in the portfolio
Mobile apps
React Native and Expo, sharing the same authentication and API as the web app. One codebase reaches both stores.2 in the portfolio
Custom solutions
The console, the widget, or the reporting layer added to software that already runs. Built against the live system and shipped into it, without a rebuild.4 in the portfolio
AI systems
Model-backed features with evaluation and fallbacks, built to degrade into something useful rather than something confidently wrong. How this one works

Recent projects

Proof, not promises.

One from each service, then everything else. Every one of them shipped. Read how any was built, then picture yours in the list.

Mobile Service Sync

Multi-tenant CRM for mobile service operators

A vertical SaaS CRM for mobile oil change operators. Jobber and Housecall Pro are general-purpose; this one knows what a 2019 Silverado takes, what the filter costs from a real distributor, and the fastest order to hit today's eight stops.

Low-Key Locksmith

60 static pages from four data files

A mobile locksmith covering three Utah counties and 43 cities. Every page prerenders at build time, so there is no server in the request path, no cold start, and nothing to patch between a customer locked out at midnight and a phone number.

RWCBM Mobile

React Native companion app

The phone client for RWCBM. Same members, same database, same API, with five tabs, deep links, and push notifications, built on Expo so one codebase ships to both stores.

Poo Patrol Ops: The operations platform behind the business
04Custom Solutions

Poo Patrol Ops

The operations platform behind the business

The private half of The Poo Patrol. Where the public site takes bookings, this runs the company: crews, routes, payroll, receivables, ad spend, and the alerts that fire when a number moves the wrong way.

Opinions, held for reasons.

These are not preferences. Each one came from a project where doing it the other way cost somebody money.

Content lives in data, not markup

Change a phone number once and every call-to-action, schema block, and footer updates with it. Add a city to an array and the page, sitemap entry, and internal links generate themselves.

Migrations keep what you already earned

Rebuilds preserve permalinks, reviews, form history, and analytics continuity. A faster site that dropped your search rankings is not an improvement.

Static until dynamic is required

Most of a business website has no reason to run a server. Prerender it and there is no runtime to patch, nothing to fall over under a traffic spike, and no cold start standing between a visitor and your phone number.

Nothing is held hostage

We host and maintain what we build, and none of it is leverage. The source, the accounts, and the domain move into your name whenever you ask, documented well enough that another developer could pick it up tomorrow.

The next thing your business runs on starts here.

Tell us what it needs to do. Within a day you will have a straight answer on what it takes to build, what it costs to run, and what we would cut. If the honest answer is that you do not need to build anything, that is the answer you get.

Or skip the form entirely. hello@pinelandtech.com reaches a person, not a queue.
